The Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal
(CSICOP)
will hold a luncheon meeting in Los Angeles, at the Wyndham Hotel, Los
Angeles
Airport, 6225 West Century Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90025 (310) 670-9000 on
Saturday, October 9, 1999.
The program is called "Science Meets Alternative Medicine." It will begin
at 12:00 and go to about 5:00. Jim Alcock, Barry Beyerstein, Wallace
Sampson, Bela Scheiber, and William Jarvis will be presenting at the meeting.

Wallace Sampson (Clinical Professor of Medicine, Stanford Univ., Editor of
