DEVELOPMENT POSITION AVAILABLE
The Center for Inquiry is looking for a development officer to expand
fundraising efforts and serve a growing national constituency. Position will
assist with national and regional campaigns and ideally contribute experience
and generalist skills to all development operations. Experience in major
gifts, capital campaigns, and planned giving a plus. Strong writing,
presentation, organizational, and computer skills required. Broad range of
responsibilities reflects need to work all levels of an extensive donor base.
Candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit.
Position is available immediately and involves extensive travel.
The Center for Inquiry, located in Amherst, NY (adjacent the University of
Buffalo Amherst campus) is the headquarters of both the Committee for the
Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal and the Council for
Secular Humanism, publishers of SKEPTICAL INQUIRER and FREE INQUIRY Magazines
respectively.
