  Barry:

If you could put the following announcement in the SI Digest, Skeptical
Briefs, and any place you can think of to get the word out I would
  appreciate it.

Jerry Mertens in the Psychology Department at St. Cloud State University is
offering an exciting innovative Psychology Tour Course in the 1998 Summer
Session: July 13 through August 3, 1998. It will be offered as an eight
quarter hours undergraduate credits, or a four quarter credit graduate
course. The Psychology Tour course involves a traveling group of students
and their instructor visiting programs and presentations at various centers
working on critical thinking, and objective looks at psychology. The trip
will take the students "where the action is" in behavior science. The
tour offers students first-hand learning opportunities to see the things.
and talk with the people they have, or could, encounter while studying.
Among the visits currently in the planned are: CSICOP in Buffalo,
Prometheus Press, Museum of Medical Quackery, South Shore Skeptics, a
number of evolution creation discussions, etc. Stops include individuals
debunking such recent skeptical interest areas as: facilitated
communication, repressed memory, subliminal advertising, perpetual motion
machines, lie detector and many more.
