Dear Babu,
There is an unconfirmed rumour that Premanand has been arrested in India
following an intervention by Sai Baba in the "Chandraswamy case". Do you
know anything about this? Can you find anything out? If we can get some
details CSICOP would like to develop a plan of action in his defence.
Any help you can give would be most appreciated. We are starting to get
calls about this, so speed is of the essence. If you get information after I
leave for Florida (on Thursday morning) please send it direct to Barry Karr

Just now I received information from Mr subbarao, rationalist from Hyderabad
that Premanand was not arrested.He spoke to the son of Premanand on phone
before sending news to us.
