Frederick P. Lenz III Found DeadApril 16, 1998 |

Author and New Age "spiritual guru" Frederick P. Lenz III, also known as Zen Master Rama, was found dead on April 14, 1998 at age 48. One day before U.S. taxes are due, his body was removed from the bay near his Long Island mansion.
Current reports (April 16) indicate that he ingested 150 phenobarbital tablets. He also reportedly drugged his dogs. His companion Lacey Brinn, who survived, reportedly ingested 50 tablets and saw him fall into the bay on Easter Sunday.
